Dehigama compettion

The 35th J.J.P Dehigama Orienteering Championship  held with Hantanne as the background for their trekking pursuits was held with Rear Admiral Viitha Maraponne  as the Chief guest, the final event held at Blaze Memorial Hall, at Kingswood Colelge, who celebrated a Century of Scouting receently
Photograaphs shws the winners of the competitionheld for three days, as Chmpions- Thurstan College ( Boys ) and Ananda Colege , Colombo as runners up.
Cahmpions in the  Girls Guides section was Ratnapura Ferguson High School and runners by as Kandy Phsupadana Girsl College
A fellicitation Award  was also presented to the oldest Scout of Kingswood L.B.Senaratne the holder of the “National Service Award” ipresented by the British Scout Asscoation.l.
The event was organised by the Kingswood Old Scouts Assocation. with the Secretary as Jewan Ariyapalaa..
