The “Mihidu “Perahera orgaismed by the Sri Phuspadna Samitiya

The “Mihidu “Perahera orgaismed by the Sri Phuspadna Samitiya was held after a lapse of three years, sue the health enviroment which could not be held during the past few years.
The  Perahera was under the patronage of Governor of the Centerra Province Lalith U.Gamage.  He offered flowers at the foot of the Statue of Aarahat Mahinda who was instrumental in converting King Devanpiyatissa to Buddhism at Mihintale.
A colourful Perahera was conducted along the streets of Kandy, with dancers, drummers and a Choir of children.
