A Sri Lankan resident from  Melbourne, Australia, donated a Tusker.’s dress to Kandy Kataragama Devale.
Gayange Mallegamana coming from the Mallegama familes of Malagamane handed the dress to the Basnayake Nilam of Kandy Kataragama Devale Duminda Udurawana at Kataragama Devale premses before the Kumbal Perahera began on Monday 21st August.
Mallegama said that he thought that he should contribute as a token from his families to the Esala Maha Perahera and therefore he had taken the initiative
Mallegama is on he left of the phtoraph and the Basnayek Nilame is at the center.
