The biggest bottleneck at ‘Hingula’, on the main Colombo

The biggest bottleneck at ‘Hingula’, on the main Colombo – Kandy road has been removed and the dangerous curve for motorists and buses have been straightened at the turn off to Aluthnuwara Devale by which vehicluar traffic is now running smoothly.
This section of the road was so narrow that it was impossible for the movement of traffic with the Devale of God Dedimunda on the side of the road.
The photographs shows the widened road which is still been repaired for the final touches.
